Lesson 3- The good is the enemy of the great
Don’t settle for the good. You will never taste the energy of greatness if you do this. Ask yourself every time you’re doing something, “Is it cool?” If your answer is no, then work harder to improve it.
Russell was writing his second book, “The Secrets of the Experts.” He was worried about writing a great book, so he wrote and rewrote until he felt the book was good enough.
He was supposed to write a great book. So Russell decided to rewrite the whole book. It was a huge success and has sold over 225,000 copies worldwide. If you are content to be good, you will never be great, but if you want to be great, you must try again.
